www.theglobeandmail.com/blogs/wbbasketball"Is the NBA interesting to you? I don't know if there is a situation that would open up for foreign coaches in the NBA. It is interesting, definitely, but it depends on the organizations. It's like the first foreign players, 20 years ago. You have to trust them a lot, otherwise the first bad performance you will lose confidence and the whole environment will lose confidence and you waste an opportunity. I think it depends on the organization rather than the validity of the foreign coach to come here. Obviously you would come if you got the opportunity. Would it have to be as a head coach? Would you come as an assistant? I understand that it would be much more understandable to start as an assistant coach for a few years. But at the same time myself and the other top coaches in Europe are in very good situations. We have excellent contracts, excellent players, we play to win something every year. So at 49, do I want to start over a new life? And then, the major question, would I again, like I thought I was 20 years ago, be a good assistant coach? Maybe I would not have the patience to be an assistant coach. It's a difficult job, so you have to be honest with yourself and the people that hire you. It's not that I don't want to be an assistant coach, it's just a little bit complicated" Actually a good read from Grange.
